Uh, unless you're joking, I think you've missed the point here. Cruise doesn't do an accent in Valkyrie, which is what the other actors in this thread should have done.

One that hasn't been mentioned that almost made me throw something at the screen was Kim Basinger in 8 Mile. Terrible southern accent in fricking Detroit! Of course, nothing says poor and trashy like a southern accent.
Also, Tim Robbins' accent in Mystic River very nearly ruined a great movie for me.
Anybody remember Harrison Ford calling out Brad Pitt's supposedly bad Irish accent in Devil's Own before the movie came out? I thought it was decent, but haven't seen it in a while.

Steel Magnolias popped into my head immediately. It was so bad I was laughing before I changed the channel.
