Looking at her, I definitely wasn't expecting that "rock" type big voice coming from her. She did okay. But spears and Lovato saying that she was "incredible" and all that was a little bit of hyperbole. That girl will probably be able to make a little noise in this competition though.

This episode has been horrible so far.

Geez, I started late to get past fluff and ads and the rap kid is still on stage 10 minutes in. And, he wasn't even good.
The judges comments are good, but I'm questioning their ratings. They are overrating just about everyone.

Definitely. Idol judges had the same problem with gratuitous use of hyperbole. Everything is "fantastic" and "incredible".
Maybe it's my tv because the sound seems pretty off with the microphones they are using in these arenas.

I said last night that I felt like everything had too much base. The mikes are clearly flawed in some way.

Auditions are always a struggle to get through with both this show and idol. I like watching them though but the real show is when they get good.

Liberace is the best voice so far. He might be best suited for Broadway, though.
