The women, especially, are just slaying it right now.
If you have not, and you are open-minded, check out Band-Maid, Nemophila, Gacharic Spin, and Love Bites.
Worth your time if you are willing to check it out.
If not, your loss.

Big fan found Babymetal about 5 years ago. Thought it was weird at 1st but the music is damn good. Then Band Maid about a year later, flying to Chicago to see them in Nov. of the bunch right now am really loving Nemophila. They have my current favorite guitarist in Saki and frankly are just insanely talented musicians. Of the metal bands that are all metal I would add Mary’s Blood and Hanabie to your list. For ones with mixed or male bands would say go to Maximum the Hormone, Unlucky Morpheus, Crystal Lake and Ninjen Isu. I think one thing I love as an old metalhead is that so many Japanese bands defy genre. I mean they will flow from thrash to groove to power metal etc… all within a song. I also appreciate that so many have melody. I mean as much as I can appreciate modern metal many bands have abandoned any melody for pure aggression and heaviness. Here are some links to try out.

Thanks!
I actually know all those bands, and I am a fan of all of them. It's insane the amount of talent coming out of Japan currently.
I am seeing B-M in LA, DC, and Philly. I might make Chicago too.
Looking forward to seeing the whole Nemophila Whiskey a Go-Go show next week when it becomes available for streaming.

As equally insane is all the dipshits who won’t give them a try because they are Japanese or sing in another language.

Yeah, but the many of those people who dismiss singing in Japanese (and let's face it most groups sing in both Japanese and English) have no problems listening to Rammstein sing in German.
Btw, Nemo's new song, "Adabana" is a banger.
