I don't know if I would say outgrown as much as I would say that I did not feel the need for new music.
Pearl Jam falls into this category. I still think the first album is a top 5 album of all time. The 2nd album was very solid also. The 3rd started to fade.
During that time of the first two albums I saw them 4 times in concert. Not after that point. I couldn't tell you one song after that.
So one mentioned KISS. Again there came a point when I didnt need new music. I have seen Kiss 9 times and I am happy to go and see them play the 18-19 favorites.
