Not a new band at all but I never really listened to them until recently...

somebody on the OT introduced me to the Wheeler Brothers last year before the LSU game in Dallas and I went and saw them downtown. Really liked them and saw Carson Daly interview them on his late night show the other night.

Yeah! They get back from their one month euro tour today. New album out in 6 weeks or so.

Isbell produced and recorded it.
The final version is getting mastered soon and will be sent out to a select few people to preview.
I just happen to be one of those
I've heard a few songs from it when they came through last time to the manship/Hartley vey and they were incredible.
It's like a mix between Springsteen and old Garth brooks
They'd be a perfect opening band for eric church

I just went through all of these and all of them sound the same. All hipster music with an 80's vibe to them.
meh.
That wasn't critical, btw. Just an observation.

Givers. Not The Givers. Just Givers.
I think they are from down south. They toured with Cold Wars Kids and almost outdid them. But they came to a little bar in Shreveport and freaking tore it up, antastic show. The chick was turning me on with all the crap she was doing, very talented.
