Been a Tool fan since 1996 but got out of listening to them for years.

I finally just listened to Fear Inoculum twice now and this thing has blown me away. These are some of Maynards best vocals IMO. The whole band is ridiculous here, it’s almost most an ambient noise album to me.

What are the boards thoughts on this thing?

I searched in the search function and didn’t see a thread.

This is a masterpiece, almost a mature sounding TOOL if that’s makes sense.

Favorite track is Invincible.

This album is incredible.

God is it excellent and gets better every time I listen to it.

Maynard is good per usual but he's a little more chill compared to the other albums. I feel this album is all about the other guys. All main songs being over 10 minutes long and listening to the instruments throughout the album was artistic.

Bass lines in this one are sick.

Invincible and 7empest are masterpieces.

Pneuma and Descending are near-masterpieces.

Culling Voices is a solid, underrated track.

Fear Inoculum is the only track I'm kind of "meh" on.
