I picked up on that too from the documentary. Joe Walsh gave them more of a 'rock' presence, but I always thought of them as a 'folk' band. Funny, I just heard someone ask Ted Nugent last week what he thought of them, and he felt they were a 'ballad' band, which is about right, because they were not a hard core rock band.
