Just finished my first run through

It's pretty good. Probably the best thing they've put out in a while.

I haven't had time to really sit down and listen yet but enjoyed my quick run through. Will be seeing them on the 14th!

I put away The Weeknd and gave Parasomnia a first listen. I really liked Bend the Clock and Shadow Man. It's good to have Mike back. Looking forward to seeing them in March.

It is amazing the difference Mike makes in this band. He changes everything, and most of it is for the better....

I just saw that DT canceled the Atlanta show. JLB is sick. Not good.

Rumor is he has the flu. Which means he’s out 7-10 days minimum. I just got over it and I was horse and unable to talk for 3 days. Huge bummer if that’s the case as they’ll have to reschedule.

ETA apparently he struggled to make it through the Nashville show last night according to some people who were there and they canceled this one while people were in the VIP line. If that’s the case, it’s probably the flu.

If it’s flu, the Houston show probably won’t happen either. Bummer.

Anyone have an update or additional information?

The Hard Rock posted this morning that the show is "currently scheduled as planned," but "[a]ny changes will be announced promptly."

Welp the show happened

And it was awesome. James did look sick and certainly took some vocal liberties but I didn't care. What an amazing setlist and performance. I sure hope it doesn't impact any future dates on the tour.

It's amazing with how good John Petrucci is, that he is almost still underrated. It's almost like the Lebron effect where he's been so good for so long it's cool to hate when he's still absolutely incredible. He was flawless tonight.

The Houston show was amazing. James sounded pretty good considering he said he wasn’t 100%. MP’s stage presence really makes a difference! I’m so glad he’s back in DT!
