Fixing an old console radio, or maybe rewiring with modern components

I’m not sure if this board is where this belongs, but I’ll post it here anyway. Have any of you tried to restore an old console radio or even rewire it with modern stuff? The reason I ask, is I see a 1936 RCA Victor 6K2 for sale on my local FB marketplace. They want $75 for it. The lady hasn’t got back to me as to whether it is working or not. Was just curious if anyone else had any personal experience or not. It’s in decent condition, not great. But I just bought a smoking stand from the early 30’s and that console radio would look great alongside it.

Grab it. You can find someone to install whatever you need/want in it.

I have a 1929 Capehart M1W jukebox like the one below. I have most of the parts but it been impossible to find someone to repair it but I love it as a piece of art deco art in my house. A radio should be much easier to get running that a jukebox that play 78's

I had an old Firestone console that I tried forever to find someone who could work on it and never could, unfortunately.
