Herring's main problem with me is his inconsistency. One show he will be straight fire (WSP 25th anniversary show in Athens for instance) then others are just bad.

I think his problem with panic is that he is so much better than the rest of the band, it limits what he can do with them.

This may not be far from the truth. He is easily the most musically knowledgeable member of the band. However just because he is more knowledgeable doesn't mean I would call him "better".
He obviously has the chops but his style does not fit in. I've recently begun to believe that the band was better of with Gmac

Starting to get real excited about this ATL show. Always roll with a solid crew up there. Haven't seen the band since 6.15.11, the massive rain storm in Alpharetta.

I love some Panic. Phish is just a differnt sound. I may be off but I compare the two like the Beatles and the Stones. Ones peace and love and the other is lets get messed up. If that makes sense.
