I think this could rival those red dirt country shows in terms of Music Board attendance.

I can't believe they skipped Nola for BR.. I'm pretty sure they sold out the Mahalia Jackson Theater last jazz fest.

Was not sold out. I was there and there were lots of seats open. It was a pretty awesome show.

Check out this poster I got from the Gov't Mule late night Jazz Fest show at the Saenger Theater in 2003 that was billed as The Deepest End

frick yeah!!! Caught them at the Texas Club back around 2005 for $25. Best money I've ever spent.

They did that this past Jazz Fest at Mahalia Jackson Theater. 10 year anniversary of the concert. They mentioned that and had quite a few guests, nothing as big as Deepest End, though.
It was a great show.
I'm looking forward to the Varsity, though.

Yeah me too, but you should still try if it's not too much of a bitch for you. I'm not even a huge GM guy but I can't miss a show this big at the Varsity.
