Give us a report, I’m sure they are doing a handful of the country covers. Sounds like fun.

Anybody repping their TD t-shirts? Trying to figure out how I'm going to recognize the MBIRLGT in the moment.

great show. good crowd except for those in the back during the encore where people couldn't shut the frick up for two quiet songs. the song about his mom might be the best song he's ever written. if you were there and heard it, you might agree. Another note would be the current band lineup was tight and the song transitions were flawless. and BJ probably said two sentences up until the encore which is different from all of the other shows he's done I feel like.

they change the setlist up every night so we got to hear hurricane which I haven't heard them play since the old chelseas closed down.

hearing when we were younger men with only vocals and piano was a nice touch.

of course they closed with Louisiana beauty queen in baton rouge. dug the bassist sneaking in the bass line for pink floyd's "money" towards the end of it.

my only complaint would be that their sound guy they have on the road with them couldn't get the mix right for the first few songs. vocals were buried underneath everything else. Chelsea's has a TOP NOTCH sound engineer that works there and knows the room and system very well. just a shame the sound wasn't as good as it could've been last night compared to the other shows the in house engineer has done.

margo cilker the opener had a great voice and the band backing her for a few songs was nice.

Man, the first 3 songs of the Encore were gut punch after gut punch (one didn’t make the set list)

I couldn't echo this enough

I'll never understand those people who choose to talk throughout the entire show. It wasn't even talking it was like yelling and cackling laughing from way in the back.

The song about his mom caught me off guard with how sad and heartfelt it was. It got me by the end of the first chorus.

Perfect post monsterballads. You nailed it.

I agree with the sound mix being off with the first few songs. I wasn't sure if it was just me or not, glad you confirmed.

Great show and the acoustic encore hit hard.

If people want to be loud during a full band show whatever. I don’t get it because I’m there for the music. But when it’s literally a guy and an acoustic guitar and he asks the crowd to be respectful before playing and people STILL can’t shut up it baffles me. Just some self absorbed rude arse people. It was funny when he told them that they can leave and thanks for coming.

Did anybody catch the name of the song about his mom? I'd like to hear it again.

Going to find out the name of that one. Waking up the echoes was the one about his friend dying from an OD

I believe it is called "Happy Mother's Day"

Sounds like it will be on the next album. He has played it on a few shows this tour.

I like it a lot. Two bars, and plenty of continuous open space. Sound is good, too. I also like the setting...right next to the bridge & downtown.

I saw Com Truise there a few weeks ago. Pretty dope show. Although his equipment got delayed in Dallas, so it was a glorified DJ set.

Hope to make it to the upcoming Cannons show and Dirty Dozen. Really glad to finally have some good options back for live music in BR. Been nothing but dogshit cover bands for quite some time. BR music scene was fire back in the 90's.
