The least vindictive, most introspective break up song I've ever heard.

"Tables are meant for turning and people are bound to change. And bridges are meant for burning, when the people and memories they join aren't the same." One of the most brilliant lines ever written IMO

One of the best memories of my childhood was listening to his albums play in our house growing up. Times weren't always great but the music sure helped.

Interestingly enough my folks for big fans of both Croce & Buffett.
