What are some good musical instrument stores in New Orleans?

If your search includes drums, Ray Fransen’s on Williams Blvd. is a great shop.

International Vintage Guitars was in Nola for a long time across the street from Lucy's on Tchoup, but Steve Staples (Iceman Special and HollyRock guitarist) moved his shop to Oakdale (band's hometown) during Covid. He has some incredible guitars on his wall and it's worth a drive. Professional guitarists will visit his shop and take some axes off the wall to try out on stage when they tour through Louisiana.

100% haha. However, Steve was well established in Nola and has a solid client base. He bought an old bank in Oakdale that has a vault where he keeps the really expensive stuff.
ETA: he has most of his stuff online as well. International Vintage Guitars on FB and Insta.
