Barcadia is okay. It's awesome for lolBR. The music they play is at the Nola location is just terrible though.

Which song would you say, in your opinion, is the best representative of each year of Phish? Meaning, which song from that year are great from almost every show that it was in.
Here are mine starting at '93 (you can only pick one):
1993: Run Like An Antelope
1994: David Bowie
1995: Stash
1996: Mike's Song
1997: Ghost
1998: Moma Dance
1999: Sand
2000: Gotta Jibboo
2002: not even worth it
2003: Piper
2004: Scents and Subtle Sounds
2009: Undermind
2010: Light
2011: Fluffhead
2012: DWD
2013: can't think of one (maybe Light again?)
2014: Chalk Dust Torture (but will probably end up being Fuego considering the circumstances)
Also, what song would you consider to define the entire lifetime of Phish: YEM

How do you figure Fluffhead for 11? That song is always the same. You could really say DWD for all of 3.0

Just ignore that comment. I know I read it earlier this year. It was sometime after their Jazzfest performance. But I can not find that article anywhere. So just ignore that comment and carry on.

Last Friday night, I got together with Mike, Page and Fish to talk openly about the strong feelings I've been having that Phish has run its course and that we should end it now while it's still on a high note. Once we started talking, it quickly became apparent that the other guys' feelings, while not all the same as mine, were similar in many ways -- most importantly, that we all love and respect Phish and the Phish audience far too much to stand by and allow it to drag on beyond the point of vibrancy and health. We don't want to become caricatures of ourselves, or worse yet, a nostalgia act. By the end of the meeting, we realized that after almost twenty-nine years together we were faced with the opportunity to graciously step away in unison, as a group, united in our friendship and our feelings of gratitude.
So Dicks will be the final Phish show. We are proud and thrilled that it will be in our adoptive home state of Colorado. We're also excited for the July and August shows, our last tour together. For the sake of clarity, I should say that this is not like the hiatus, which was our last attempt to revitalize ourselves. We're done. It's been an amazing and incredible journey. We thank you all for the love and support that you've shown us.
