I had a total blast at both. Not sure which one I'd pick. I haven't gotten to re-listen to anything so far, but I'd say the DWD jam to open Set II on Friday was the best improv and overall Set II on Saturday was the best sequence.

I enjoyed the jam out of chalkdust.

Never realized how much the beginning of SaSS and Light are very similar until now. I thought they were going into Light.
ETA: This Twist is very interesting.

So pissed. Trying everything possible to listen to this show while on this southwest flight. Mixlr, ustream and livephish don't work. First world problems.

The First Tube was smokin'...
There was a lot more room in the pit tonight than Friday night. I was in front of Mike about 8 rows back.

I think it is safe to say this was the best summer tour since the reunion, and maybe the best tour period right after Fall '13. Although there was no ubiquitous monster jam like last summer's infamous 'Tahoe Tweezer' we saw the band play at a very consistent rate with solid jams each show. Love it or hate it, Fuego and its recording sessions certainly rejuvenated the band a bit. The energy was noticeably higher than previous summers.

The second leg of summer 2012 (Long Beach, BGCA, Oak Mtn, Charlotte,St Louis,Dick's) is hard to beat. But I think that this summer was much better than last. Certainly much more consistent.

Orange Beach was a complete surprise as far as cops go. They shut down vending (virtually no Shakedown to speak of) but in terms of partying it was do whatever you want. Open bowl smoking, tanks BEFORE the show, people hitting lines off car hoods, etc...Wild times.
Oak Mountain was a completely different story. Saw tons of cops roaming the lot. They all had bullet proof vests on
give me a fricking break. I only saw one dude get popped. He looked like a big time sketchball and 5 cops and a dog took him out. Lots of people were filming the arrest and of course you had that one guy yelling the "you are not following the Constitution..he has his rights" and all that jazz. Heard they had 50 arrests before AC/DC Bag even started up.
