So after listening to the Phish SPAC shows and the SCI Electric Forest shows it is clear that Kang & The Gang are putting out better performances. Minus a few weak links, the entire weekend is stacked. They straight up shred harder and their entire show is more uptempo. When they do slow it down, it has a way more blissful ambiance. Yeah their womp shite blows but that is a minor part of the show. No mindless noodling with a 5 second peak. Almost all of that run is filled with heaters and it actually sounds like they are playing with each other.

after listeing to Fuego for a forth time last night, I came to the conclussion that either I can't really get my head around a couple of tracks or Overstep just overshadows Fuego with it's upbeat tunes
But I am fairly certain that Gordon is more creatively in-tune with what Phish is now than Anastasio
