Static-X, Sevendust, Dope (Brooklyn Bowl Nashville) Review

So last night at the Brooklyn Bowl the bands added this show in response to the cancellation of the original show that was supposed to have been in Murfreesboro back in October. They finished up the second leg of the Machine Killer Tour.
1. Opening act was Lines of Loyalty. Solid band, wrote some good songs.
2. Dope was awesome. Edsel is a funny dude. Made fun of us for being old, but mentioned he was to. 30 minute set and the crowd was in it. You have to give him his props playing twice a night with Static.
3. Sevendust is who I came to see. Second time seeing them. For whatever reason, I went upstairs to watch. Bad judgment on my part. Played the hits and new stuff. Crowd surfers everywhere. They hold it down every night.
4. How do I tell you how fricking awesome Static-X was? One of the best live shows ever. Props, fake snow, walking inflatable monsters. Crowd surfing, pits. Great tribute to Wayne. Definitely go see them if you get the chance.
Funny moment right before Push It, Edsel says, “It’s the last song of the tour. I’m ready to go home and get some sleep.”
Overall a great card. They were exhausted having played multiple days in a row due to a snow storm up in the northeast rescheduling one show.
Static-X: Push It
Static-X: I’m With Stupid
Static-X: Wisconsin Death Trip
Sevendust- Face to Face
Sevendust- Bitch
Sevendust- Black
Sevendust- Denial
Dope- You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)
Dope- Die MF Die
Dope- Debonaire

Do you live in Nashville or just there to see the show? I live here and saw the Black Keys at the Bowl in August and Juvenile a couple of weekends ago. Great venue.

2 hours away in Kentucky. I’ve made the trip so many times it’s easy

Was not big on Static-X until now, but that i good to hear you enjoyed them. Might have to check them out if they're close.
And I saw Sevendust about a year ago and they were solid as frick.

I saw Static X in 2019, I think it was the first tour with Edsel. They had more big songs than I remembered. I saw Wayne's solo show around 2007 or 2008 and it wasn't nearly as good.
