Randy Rhoads for Mr. Crowley should be on there. The live version on the tribute album is sick.

But comfortably numb is best solo ever?
It's not even Gilmour's best solo.

the outro solo on that tune has always been a standout in his playing. that entire record is full of brilliance. the solo on goodbye to romance is also one of rhoads' finest works.

Exactly. That list is a joke, and I like all of the songs they mentioned too.
But no Jimi?
Ted Nugent - Stranglhold
Dimebag Darrel - Floods or This Love

Any top 10 list that doesn't feature Jimi Hendrix's "Machine Gun" is a waste of time.
And there are many Gilmour solos with Floyd that are greater than Comfortably Numb.

Titanic solo and I agree 100%, this list makes no real since as it does not seem to appreciate virtuoso performances, complexity or even historical importance. I am also enthralled with SRV-Texas Flood

It really has always puzzled me as to why Kurt Cobain is considered one of the best guitarist of all time. I like Nirvana, and I understand the magnitude of their influence on the 90's rock scene, but Cobain wasn't anything beyond an average guitarist as far as skill goes IMO.
