Never did like that song. And it plays at every single wedding reception.

Now we're talking. Going ten.

Hard to dispute:
Tupelo Honey.
Someone Like You.

Pretty much unknown but awesome pussy arse songs:
In The Afternoon (Days Like This).
Steal My Heart Away (Down the Road).
Magic Time (Magic Time).

Pretty much unknown, but hip/cool songs:
Burning Ground (Healing Game).
Celtic New Year (Magic Time).
That's Entrainment (Keep It Simple).

Weird/Insane/rant:
Rave On John Donne (Live in Belfast).
Inarticulate Speech of the Heart.

Ballerina (from Astral Weeks Live)
Listen to the Lion
Saint Dominic's Preview
Fair Play
Into the Mystic

Could have listed at least two dozen others. Saw him perform at Jazz Fest three years ago - magical.

I saw him live about four years ago. Nothing quite like it. Hypnotic.

I'm surprised to see two people go ten deep without "Sweet Thing". Well, actually I'm not that surprised -- I started the thread fully confident that the picks would be all over the place. This speaks to how awesome VM is as a songwriter.

But I mention sweet thing because that song is just indescribable to me. I would elaborate, but I can't describe it. :)

Sweet Thing is a very good song, just have a higher personal preference for the others that I listed. Certainly can't argue against anyone that includes it in their list, though.

I posted it in the other thread, too. It just doesn't get much better to me
