This is not totally true. Voxels are a defined shape by their nature, so that will never be overcome.


Here's a much better done demonstration and explanation, quickly getting into showing with a 1Khz and then 15Khz tone, why the A-> D -> A conversion yields a smooth curve, and why stairstep/squared off waves aren't reality.
