Why no Pantera / Metallica Louisiana tour dates?

The Superdome is missing out on a fortune! Panthers reunion tour . Metallica stadium shows. Why do we need to travel to Dallas for a good metal show?

I don't see the New Orleans demographic and the Metallica demographic having a lot of overlap.

Pantera will play Nola eventually, they probably would have played Voodoo this year if it was still a thing - I think Tad Gormley Stadium would be a pretty awesome site for it with the right double bill.. but it'll more likely be Lakefront or Smoothie King

Most bands use SiriusXM to promote their shows. I get emails all the time from sirius on upcoming shows in my area

I heard 98.1 promoting the Green Day show in Dallas the other day. Lafayette and New Orleans have rock stations too but the one in New Orleans sucks.

Pantera is playing Memphis Mardi Gras weekend.
We are a B market and often compete with Memphis. Timing during Mardi Gras for this run may not have helped.
I am not sure NOLA can fill up the Superdome for Metallica, doesn’t help that they already played Texas.
