Yeah maybe I just listen to the wrong stuff but idk. The Beasties, Outkast, and T.I. are my favorite rap artists, and I'm pretty content with the old tastes.
I'll come along maybe one day but most rap today is nothing but perverted and conceited garbage over a catchy beat imo.
M.a.a.d City was a recent track I actually like. Lamar is probably the only current rapper I can tolerate.

Maybe it shows how much I have fallen from current hip hop but my favorite Kanye album (actually the only one I ever listened to multiple times) was Graduation . I like the Steely Dan and Daft Punk samples on that album

I like Graduation a lot. Drunk and hot girls is one of my favorite rap songs. For me, MBDTF, CD, and LR are tied for first place, then Graduation, then Yeezus,
then 808s.
