So it my understanding reading the Fletcher, Duncan, Fox8 articles Gayle shows up to her meeting with the commish with a bunch of King Cakes. Was this supposed to be a meeting about keeping the Pelicans here long term or a tea and King Cakes Party with the Commish? I guess it worked for the NFL commish to get back on Super Bowl list but we have not heard anything from the NBA commissioner other than some renovations may be coming.

My sauce maybe fos, but according to him they already have a buyer in place for the saints when gayle passes or sooner if she decides.
The buyer wants the saints sooner rather than later but he doesn’t want the pelicans and gayle will only do them as a package deal as it stands today.

The trip was solely about getting the ‘31 Super Bowl.
The Saints/Tulane/NFL/Glazer family will be investing in Tulanes football renovations because the AFC will use those facilities.
The NBA has sent staff members unannounced to SKC to begin audits. Gayle needs to go present viable options in how she plans to update the property.
