Didn't say he was a center. Still would be better fit; he could play alongside Lopez or AD in "small" lineup. Averaged 14-7 w/ 20 PER last year - lower numbers than Jefferson but for half the price. Plus he's a Louisiana guy and plays hard. <- Neither of which can be said about Jefferson.

Jefferson, for all his offensive gifts, has never lifted his team beyond meh. In fact, his teams generally perform better when hes on the bench. Hes been considered the best or 2nd best player on each of his teams since at least 2008.
As a 3rd or 4th option at the right price, he would be a very nice fit here. But if you're paying your 3rd or 4th guy a max type deal in NO, there are problems.
Plus I dont think you could play Jefferson and Anderson at the same time.
