I never loved let it play out thing end of games. Its straight luck no process involved. Players are comfortable taking shots they want from certain areas. I prefer setting plays where players want the ball. Trying to win off scramble ball is just difficult as hell- especially with the guys we have on the floor.

Mediocrity?

Try most losses in the entire NBA

I wish this team was mediocre

Ingram has to shoot that

I can promise if we set a play where BI took a fadeaway jumper he would have been comfortable and likely made it. Unless you have very high IQ players- scramble ball is just a mess.

Regardless great effort especially JRE. I feel like we really missed Missi in this one.

That was a game winner in the flow, no excuses not to take that shot.

High IQ players man. I agree he should have shot it. But the man was likely looking to get a mid range jumper instead.

When you’re this bad in the clutch as a team dating back to last season- you think the team practices this stuff? Like was the solution just sign Dejounte and we’ll be better? These 4th quarter clutch issues at this point are just ridiculous.

Lack of clutch execution going back to last year is a clear reflection of the coach. You’d hope Dejounte would help, but that has yet to be seen

Actually played with effort tonight. At least they didn’t get embarrassed on national TV

Does anyone actually think Willie draws up anything to win.
We were better off playing it out. Just missed the shot.
Missed big FTs in the 4th. JRE played hard but miss timed about 3 or 4 rebs.
We needed more from BI and he didn't have it.

The next two hopefully we should be able to win with CJ coming back. We need this same type of effort though. Then the hope is Dejounte and Herb shortly return as well. Jose will be back soon too and then we just see if they can dig out the hole before deadline to see what we need to sell. I honestly at this point don’t care about Zion.

This sums it up. BI needs to understand that while short handed, the Pels have needed him to be more aggressive and shoot the Dang ball. That's what $50M players do.

Completely agree. Will say it til I’m blue in the face… I like BI, but he’s never a top tier A grade player and you simply can’t pay him that money.

Do you think any other franchise player would have passed up an open corner 3 with the game on the line?

Look I agree BI should have shot it BUT if Trey- another highly paid player- makes that shot, are we still getting on BIs arse for passing up the shot? Trey had a good look and was on a heater late in the game.

Nah Yaz, if you want to be the 50M dollar man, there’s not an actual 50M dollar man out there passing up that shot.

What we do know is BI is an S Tier Robin.

We should be using all of our resources to get a Batman. Raising a Flagg might help that.

Fair point. Live or die by his shot- but he needs to take it.

BI is not a true #1 guy. He needs help and our coaching staff doesn't help him.

I think Murray will really help BI

Our 4th Qrt offense is so bad, it is like watching pick up basketball. It is crazy the difference between the 1st qrt and 4th qrt. I get teams tighten their D in the 4th and you get tired but the ball movement in the 4th is so bad.

I wouldn’t go that far, he’s played very good the past three years but certainly not the killer he showed in the Phx series. Its really in his head, he tries to orchestrate the offense and becomes hesitant and plodding. I actually like Payton and Boston to consolidate ball handling with DJM and use BI and Husky as well focused on finishing.

Same shite every year. BI gets blamed for struggling to close out games with a horrendous roster while Zion eats Doritos at home.
