I’m not making Lonzo out to be an allstar, but it’s simple. If you fill 35 minutes of average to above average play with Lonzo, you don’t have to fill it out with the worst collection of guards in the league in Naw, Kira, Sato and Temple. Memphis is the 4 seed at 19-14. There are basically 3 good teams in the west and bunch of teams that are struggling. We missed a big opportunity this year.

People talking about trading for Buddy Hield or dumping money at Duncan Robinson this past off-season when Lonzo has shot better than either offensively and is vastly superior defensively.

The issue with Lonzo and letting him go, whether you see him as the long-term piece or not, is that you did so without getting anything back except 15 million in bad contracts. Right now everyone talking

This is what makes absolutely zero sense.

You(griff) and most fans bitched about his contract but then took bad satoronsky and temple.

Griff thinking he could sign Lowry is the only dumber thing imaginable than getting negative value for Zo.

Someone on here actually believes chris paul was coming here until phoenix gave him the 4th year.

Stop calling these bad contracts. They’re not.
Bad contracts are deals that hamper the current team from improving their roster because of them, and or difficult to trade. Sato might be a disappointment on the court, but his expiring contract is not bad.
