Its not the best case because, even though it is so tempting to put together a nice, full roster on paper and all that depth is nice in the regular season -- in the playoffs, it comes down to your top 7. And more than that, comes down to your stars.

That's why I said keeping AD is THE BEST course of action. It's not even debateable.

Whatever we get back for AD, we HAVE to get back at least 85% of his cap space in the trade. That's just how the league works.

I'm sorry, what is this dribble?

If you have AD-Jrue-Zion locked in, you will get the rotation players. Don't be in a rush to trade your star for a bunch of them

This is my thought as well. I don't give a damn that he requested out. Things changed. We have a revamped FO, medical stuff, hit the lottery, etc. As awkward as it might be, AD has to see this as his best opportunity to win.

If we sign Kyrie (a Griffin draft pick), we'll win a ring. I don't expect this, Kyrie likely will end up in NY or LA.

Kemba would be ideal; I think we'll end up packaging Solo, Jackson, and Moore for Conley. The Grizzlies don't need him anymore after getting the #2 pick. That'll give us Conley / Jrue / Zion / AD.

Sign a free agent SF like Hood or Bogdanovic. Re-sign Miller.

Teams that make a trade can't have lopsided trades one way when it comes to the salaries of the players involved. For example, the Pelicans and Celtics cannot straight up trade AD for Jason Tatum b/c of the discrepancies in their salaries (not that the Pels would ever make such a deal, it's just an example).

Team A has to take on salaries of at least 85% of what they're trading to team B.

If AD stays, I would love to see us get Brogdon and Mirotic on this team.

I would have to think Kemba would consider if AD stays, but not sure i would invest into Kemba long term.

Man Grif is going to earn his money in the next 90days.

I actually like darren Collison if he's interested and came at a decent rate

He ticks pretty much all of the boxes
