Not many people want him because he's from New Orleans. It just makes it more likely to happen.

I want him because he is a clutch scorer and a veteran fan favorite at a position of severe need.

Granger could probably be had for the MLE next season. Gordon's stats/PER look worse than they should on account of an impossibly bad start in terms of short range FG% that will level off (has already started, with a 41.9FG% on the season vs. 43.2% over the last 10 games). He's shooting a solid 37.7% from 3 and looks great attacking the rim. Once he starts converting those floaters/contested layups at an average clip, he'll be fine.

Could potentially pursue a shumpert trade, since his perimeter defense is good and he has a cheap contract. I don't know what we would give up for him though.

Tell me why you think Shumpert is so much better than Aminu? The only thing Shumpert does better is shoot from the outside which the Pelicans don't really need Aminu to do. Shumpert is actually an undersized SF who plays most of his minutes at the SG position.

Defensively, Shumpert and Aminu are similar.
Offensively, Shumpert >> Aminu.

Aminu is 5" taller than Shumpert.

Shumpert is one of the better perimeter defenders in the league, that's a well known fact.

Aminu is also a great defender, inside and out.

Oh, so a player's interest in being traded plays no role whatsoever? Damn, I didn't know that fact.

*Not that either Granger or Gordon are interested here.

Great? Define great. Gary Payton great? Michael Cooper great? Scottie Pippen maybe?

Aminu is a really good defender. As is Shumpert.

Was wondering what he meant by great. Was he comparing Aminu great to Scottie Pippen great.? You know, Scottie Pippen that was on the 1st team defense 8 times?

This is so subjective it's not even funny.

As far as Shumpert goes, I'd love to have him AFTER Davis comes back, but right now Aminu is averaging 11.3 rebounds a game in Davis' absence. 45 total through 4 games. That is so crucial to this team even having a chance right now. Shumpert doesn't rebound like that.

Anything? What, you didn't know Granger is clutch boy?

I went to sleep. And, as others pointed out, you're either trolling or high. Granger is nowhere near the player he used to be.

Shumpert cut the high fade and is rocking a buzz this season. Shows how much you pay attention LSUfan97. Ignoramus
