Chrissy Paul has become ORDINARY and if his play continues in this manner, he isn't worth a max contract and the team that gives it to him will regret it. He refuses to take games over like a superstar should on any type of consistent basis.

Exactly. He's playing like your run of the mill PG. So frustrating.

So I guess when we got on another win streak

if ya can't beat the fricking RAPTORS when you really need a win, what makes you think this team is going on some winning streak?

exactly. We can go as far as his play can take us. Right now, David West is carrying the team while Chris Paul has turned into a passive PG with vanilla play. I'm quoting the great Alejandro:
"He's a shell of his former self." I'm hoping he's going to turn it on in the playoffs, but he may not be capable.

I think a lot of you might be missing what's really happening. CP hasn't just all of a sudden lost all of his game....knee injury or not. In fact, this season he has looked like his old self on a few occasions. My fear is that he's playing at a high level against certain teams and dogging it against others as a calculated decision.

he looked incredible against the Lakers and Clippers this year.

he had a wow factor to his game every single time he played in 2007-2008

Two teams I'm sure he'd consider playing for. Clips of course are bit of a stretch, but with Blake and being in LA, who knows. But then again, that game was on ESPN primetime so he knew it would get some attention. Had to bring his 'A' game for that one.

Then why did you say he's become "ORDINARY"? I think he's choosing when to look ordinary and when to look like a superstar. Business move.

because that is exactly what he has done. He has become an ordinary PG whether by choice or injury

ordinary players can have above ordinary games. Overall, CP has been nothing but ordinary this entire season and a lot of his above ordinary games, we still lost.
