If i liked what i saw in that year. Guy has lot of offensive potential reminds of young Gasol. His defense needs to improve but it will.

What happens if the Knicks get the 4th pick? Is Brown/Smart/picks better than Knox/4th pick/picks?
You’re making me squirm... that’s about the worst thing that can happen. Thinking the Knicks might have to send us more players and possibly eat Solo’s contract.

Their pick could be as low as 5

Alot of moving parts, but how about:
LAL: AD, Hill
Detroit: Kuzma, Rondo, Stevenson
Suns: Ball, Frazier, 2019 LAL 1st rounder
NOP: Blake Griffin, Ingram, Josh Jackson, Beasley(waived), Zubac, 2019 Phx 1st, 2020 Detroit 1st (lottery protected)
Lakers get AD and get to keep 1 of their guys in Hart, although it requires them eating Hill (could send Hill to Detroit and let them keep their 1st and 2021 Lakers 1st come to Pels)
Detroit gets HUGE cap relief and a player they can rebuild around in Kuzma
Phoenix gets their point guard they desperately need and still recieve a 1st
We get our "star" in Griffin to sell tickets, SF of the future in Ingram and Jackson, good backup C in Zubac, and 2 1st rounders, one of then with a chance at 1st overall
Pretty fair and balanced for everyone IMO

I hate it. Those players limit the team monetarily and the Pelicans will still struggling to be a playoff team.

Well, unless we trade with the Knicks, theres not much of a chance of us saving any money due to cap hits having to match...
Griffin would be entering his last year when Ingram would be due big money (unless some team signs him to an offer sheet), same with Jackson, although hes someone you would let walk.. Zubac wont demand much money at all...
Then you have the potential at Zion, Barret or Morant with the Phoenix pick, and with our own and a little luck you end up with 2 top 6 picks...
We still wouldnt be a tax team either and could end up as a pretty good team in the west with:
Morant/Payton
Jrue/Frank/Miller
Ingram/Jackson/Williams
Griffin/Doumbouya
Okafor/Zubac
I just feel like if the Lakers will end up with AD it will have to be in a trade like this where they get other teams involved and we get a good return

The pels would rather trade him for basically scraps rather than doing a shitty deal with LA

Young players and draft picks only

OMG you guys are unbelievable.

They are struggling with AD to get in the playoffs. No matter what they get back, they are going to struggle regardless.
