re: The bench is an issue

It's the death "no offense" lineup that's killing us. That lineup has it's finger prints on every single game we play, yet Willie keeps going to it. To make matters worse it's not just one lineup, it has multiple variations of it.
I would be curious to see what those lineups looked like with Billy on the floor. Those lineups are good defensively, but they're so bad offensively that they are still a negative. Makes me wonder/think that you could sacrifice some of the defense for Billy's offense and not sink.
We ran three variations of the no offense lineup last night, for a total of 10 minutes, and we were -12 in those minutes.

I particularly love Willie going unconventional and leaning into Josh for 29 minutes…bold move to shut down your bench rotation (and bench your starting center) and go with the guy that’s 15th in PER…but it was inspired to have the other main support from the guy that’s 13th in PER.
I know those journeyman are just winners needing more opportunities…damn the stats

I am just at a loss on how to describe yesterday's game. Honestly, this team should be a 4th./5th. seed, in a marginal West, even with BI and Zion missing games. Yesterday was at least the 10th. time a winnable game was just pissed away.
It is clearly evident that the staff has bias that is becoming detrimental to the team. No accountability for the veterans at all. C.J. has a hurt hand, ok ... you don't shoot 24 times at a 38% clip. If you give just 5 of those shots to TM3 it's a different outcome. Also, his hand has nothing at all to do with him getting beat constantly at the top straight to the rim. That is cause for benching for anyone else.
Playing Nance, at what appears to me, 25% health, while getting beat multiple times in two straight games on critical box outs is inexcusable. If Hayes had done something similar that would be all the proof of why he should never see the court.
Once again, a team faceguards doubles or blitzes BI, and on the escape pass a player (read CJ or JRich) dances with the ball, allowing the defense to recover, or just can't do anything (read Nance), like finish, because they are compromised physically. Kira breaks down defenses in his sleep but gets no run? Also, go back and look at the alley-oop from BI that Nance barely finished and look at him trying to recover from the landing. He looked like he just got shot. It's implausible to believe that Hayes would at the very least finished on a number of plays where Larry had a straight line to the bucket and would have been a better deterrent to KAT on the perimeter.
All this was on display yesterday, as it has been for the course of the year, and yet the Pels still pump out that Hayes, Kira, and who knows else, are not performing in practice and not deserving of minutes. Well, heck, we've seen Pels play in actual games and they are not anywhere worse than the production the Pels have been getting, particularly lately from the Vets.
