Durant is 34, and has had worse injuries than Zion, and I SERIOUSLY doubt he has any desire at all to play in NOLA.

Right OP is saying “well Zion might sign his contract and be gone in two years”. Kevin Durant will 100% be gone in two years. He’s also only played 90 regular season games in 2 years. We lose Zion plus some depth for a guy who is struggling to stay healthy is more risky than keeping Zion.
