Always safe to go with 8-8 for the Saints. Mediocrity is the name of the game.

Pats 35-28 9-2, Meachem officially sheds bust talk with his 7th td, a 77yd bomb to win the game on the third play in overtime

If it is overtime score would be 34-28?

I don't see it either. I didn't see a Carolina sweep or a third straight year losing in Chicago in '08 either. If you pick every game by the August book you'll be disappointed.

Hey Blues!

No one is looking for support, or justification, for the predictions. It's just a guess and just as valid as the next guy's guess.

Yes, things happen that you don't expect. It seems to happen to the Saints every year.
I swear that every record that has ever been broken happened against the Saints. I know that's not the case, but it sure feels that way.

I don't see us losing at home to Carolina then beating them on the road.

I think we may "screw around" the first game at home. I put a win at the end cause we usually screw around mid season and lose games we should win. I am just hoping that IF it all comes down to a final game at the end which we need to secure a wild card or etc..we do so. Let's hope for the best though, we sweep them.

10-6 should be the avg. Anything 8-8 or less, and Peyton's job security needs to be evalutated.

ask Harper, Arrington and Roby about that.

Preseason final scores don't mean shite. What play you see with your eyes means everything, that's why they do it. If the final score would have been 17-14 with that sort of performance should give any fan legitimate excitement.

consider who they were playing against. looked like the first team houston offense moved at will. remember, this is the saints we are talking about. i hope they go 16-0, but i expect 8-8 b/c they are the saints.

I expect 10-6 because they are the 09 saints. If you don't think we have the best Owner, Coach, QB and Organization we have ever had in our short history then you can wallow in your own low expectations and misery like a.........

looked like one drive to me that was sustained by a marginal roughing call on 4th down...

Texans first half-

10 plays 73yds TD 6:05posession

9 plays 32yds PUNT 4:33

6 plays 15yds PUNT 2:51

4 plays 31yds INTERCEPTION 1:31

Wht we are failing to remember is that the Texans first possession should have resulted in a punt if Hargrove did not get that face mask call. To also say that they moved the ball at will and only scored 7 points says alot about our defense.
