Schedule Ramble-

Vikes- if Starcaps suspensions, definitely in our favor, I'd love Favre banged up in preseason and THEN decide to retire. They draft no incumbent then we face Tavaris Jackson.

After a Thursday night game, not just 3 extra days but 4 going into MNF. Bank on Alex Smith proving once and far all he not a NFL starter

Sept 26 to Oct 31 is the win and get ahead stretch with 4 of 6 at home

Dirty Birds on a short week isn't nice but at least it is at home.

Another division game at home, Matt Moore??

at Arizona, can they be better minus Warner, Dansby, Berry, Boldin, etc?

To Tampa maybe they're better but still an expected W

Browns at home, Jake the Mistake or rookie Clausen?

Steelers- who knows with them? a quality organization but they have a lot of question marks growing as of now

Carolina in early November should be moderate enough weatherwise

The BYE in Week 10 is excellent for rest before pushing down the stretch rather than like last year's early week 5 bye

Hopefully Seattle won't be too taxing before the 3 days to Dallas

This starts a tough 4 of 5 on the road stretch with two potential winter weather games.

Is there any team we have revenge for more than Cowturds? Do it in Jerry's Palace while everyone digests their turkey. A win here equals a mini bye with extra days off before heading to Cincy

I looked up Cincy weather on 12/5 the past 5 years, temp. hi/lo and precipitation

Things could fall into place better than last season and make this Jonathan Crompton's first start for the Saints.

Final Monday Nighter at Atlanta. With the unpredictability of the NFL from season to season this could be a yawner or have the division title on the line. I prefer to see Crompton go again and throw another couple of TDs.

Finale at home, hopefully the game will be meaningless to the standings. If a W is needed I'm not seeing the Bucs ready to press .500 at least.

My predictions will start forming after the draft. Repeat? I think just like Brees said last year, "Maybe it's our time." Not to be a fluke but maybe be THE franchise of this decade like the Pats were in the last one.

Not a very strong schedule.....Like the opening with the Vikings and towards the end Dallas, but other than that.......?
