Dumb trade IMO, if this is true. 18 spots in the draft is not worth Reggie. As stated above, the draft is pretty deep with defensive talent and RB's this year. Julius Jones would probably get cut in training camp, unless we were really desperate at RB. If it is to free up some money, why do it this year when there is no cap?

I wouldn't want Jones. I would want to swap first round picks and through in a 3rd maybe.

The Seahawks just picked up QB Charlie Whitehurst to compete against Hasselbeck. They aren't going after McNabb.

I thought Loomis stated Bush would not be traded, I tend to believe him. Reggie puts fans in the seats (although that wont be a problem) ,it still would be a bad move to let him go.Only player that would P.O. the fans more is to ever lose Brees, and that aint happening. The Saints are a team made of few players that have the name recognition of the big name NFL players , Bush is one of them , only Brees has more.

saints get absofrickinlutely skull fricked on that trade. jones doesn't even matter in this trade. 
no business giving up reggie and a late round first rounder for some mid round guy in this years draft. the top half of the draft isn't much worth it.. definitely not no number 14..
