I find this to be somewhat believable if the Saints want to move up to get Weatherspoon in the 1st rd. It's true the Seahawks are looking for a RB. I also think the Saints could win with Thomas, Hamilton, Jones and Evans in the backfield. Also would free up Saints from Reggies pricey contract.

If the Saints move that far up in the draft, I doubt it would be for Weatherspoon. It would be more like a pass-rusher(Morgan, JPP), the top NT(Williams), or one of the many elite pass protectors in the first half of the draft.

Chad, looks like the bogus trade scenario offered by the OP includes the Saints giving up the 32nd pick in addition to Reggie.
Trading up 18 spots in the draft by giving up Bush is not worth it in a draft with this much depth.

Why mess up a good thing? I say keep Bush, Thomas, AND Bell. They sure as hell need to keep Thomas ... how many key TDs did he score on routine screen passes? Dude is money.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Saints trade up (not necessarily as high as 14), but not if it involves Bush (perhaps Jammal Brown?) I would love to see the Saints draft Weatherspoon and I don't think he'll be there at #32.
