I agree with LSU=, I'm officially nervous. Totally respect those who are not nervous, but gentlemen should be able to disagree without one's fandom being questioned

I also agree, this is opinion. I too believe we are headed in wrong direction at the wrong time and fear the 4 L finish. We all want the Super Bowl, but people who believe its likely right now aren't being realistic.

o bitch about miles or something - you guys aren't saints fans. you never post here.

do you monitor who posts on a specific board. get a life frick face. I you want a private forum, take your blind arse somewhere else. I have no problem with a frustrated saints fan venting on a message board. that is what this exists for.

Do you think your entitled b/c you spend all of you time in the internet?

why aren't we being realistic? we all know come playoff time we'll be completely healthy on both sides of the football for the first time since the MNF game against ATL...and with greer in the lineup williams can send more pressure bc he has more faith in greer to cover man to man...then sharper can roam around the defensive backfield and ball hawk...and on offense our 3 headed monster at RB will be fully healthy, we can rotate them in and out, and we'll have shockey back and shockey and thomas are the best 1-2 punch at TE in the league...i see something similar to the first 5 games in the playoffs..just an opinion

All of this is about how you are playing now versus early in the season. Take the example of the eagles = without Donovan McNabb, they couldn't win anything. In fact, take Russel out of the Raiders line-up they become competitive. What about New England - right now they are playing their best football. Pittsburgh is still alive after 5 or 6 losses. What most Saints fans are nervous about is "are we collectively playing our best football heading into the playoffs".
I agree we are not, BUT as others mentioned it is a matter of time for us to get healthy and play looser as an offense without trying to play ball control offense.
We were the St. Louis Rams from the late 90's on offense, but we don't look like it much today. What has changed? INJURIES are hands down the issue with our #1 issue. Even if we are the #2 seed, I like the opportunity to rest and get healthy versus getting more people hurt.
Keep Faith

+10000000000

I have never hoped my nervousness would be proved unfounded more or harder.

I think most ppl have realized that this team has its problems. And most ppl kno stopping the run has been the biggest problem for weeks now. But there is no dominant team in the NFC. At the beginning of the year you hope to make the playoffs and then when you accomplish that you want the bye, and after you hope to get homefield throughout.

I think ppl are pissed because this team is getting thrown under the bus. We in the playoffs (a tournament where anything can happen) with a bye and control our own destiny for homefield. I know playing the way we are will get us an early exit but Arizona limped to the playoffs last year. This team can still make noise in the playoffs.

I agree with this but shouldn't we be able to stop a team more than once with our present D line since they are all starters. They get pushed around like a second string high school D line. Grant and Smith are posers as far as I'm concerned, they cannot dictate a game like a Ware can. Time for them to go and get some real D linemen that can have an affect on the game. I'm not worried about the secondary as much, injuries have plagued them and Jenkins is green and McKenzie is showing us why he needs to go back and do what ever he was doing before the patriots game, he shot his wad. There will be a new NFL rushing record set next week by Carolina. We will not be able to stop them at all, in fact they won't have to pass, they'll rush for about 375 yards imo. I sure hope were right about getting healthy and playing defense cause its gonna be real ugly till that day, real ugly!!!
