Yes it did. 2 losses in a row at the end of the season would not look good for us.

I don't say 80 to 0. But I hope for a huge blowout by the Saints. It's in our dome.

Nothing like the Buccaneers at home for a hungry, ANGRY football team ...

A loss was just the thing to refocus the black & gold ...

Back to basics!!!

i say we go out there and handle them. Put Mark brunell in there at the half and let him finish it up

That lack of comfort has been removed from the Saints. Now, coach Sean Payton can crack his whip and use this home loss as the best thing that has happened to the Saints this year. Falling at home will now remind the Saints that just because they are playing in New Orleans does not guarantee a win. Players get a sense of comfort at home, especially when they read in every publication how hard it is for any opponent to go into their stadium. Now Payton can turn this loss into a positive by attacking that sense of familiarity with his vast array of motivational tools. There will be no sense of comfort in New Orleans come playoff time, which might be the best Christmas gift Payton could have ever received.

Part of an article on NFL.com above. This is exactly how I feel, and what I have been telling people since the loss. I think the Saints saw fate arrive in the form of a loss Saturday.

I think we get back on track against the Bucs.

This needs to be an all out assault, and we need to RUN the ball
-------------------------
This is the insanity that got us beat..the run opens up after 3 or 4 first half passing touchdowns down the field to the best long receivers in the league.

Tire the other teams secondary, and defeat them psychologically. THEN, WE CAN RUN IN THE SECOND HALF SUCCESSFULLY ON A CONFUSED AND SPREAD OUT DEFENSE. Forget "resting the defense". It is scoring that makes an inspired defense that makes its own rest by pummeling the other team.
Throw long..on first down..in the first quarter..that's the path to victory!

Anybody catch Deion Sanders' comment during Saturday's pregame? He said any letdown wouldn't come against Tampa Bay because they're the "NFL's homecoming team."

maybe deion still has something left in the tank maybe will call him up everyone seems to think we need to worry about the bucs. The bucs got nothing on the saints.
