Police said the footage did not show the man running away, but rather being attacked by Kamara and four other men.
The victim told police that when an elevator door opened, Kamara stopped him from entering by putting his hand on the victim’s chest, the report stated. When the man pushed Kamara’s hand away, Kamara shoved him.
That is when someone in Kamara’s group punched the man in the face, causing him to stumble, police said.
Kamara then lunged at him, throwing more punches that knocked the man unconscious, police said.
When the victim was on the floor, Kamara was seen punching him three more times, police said. Three people in Kamara’s group then stomped on his face, chest and legs.
Police allege Kamara landed eight total punches.

The facts have been released for a long time. You take zero effort to research what happened, but defend the guy because your a Saints fan.

Not really. If it's on video, which it almost certainly is, it's a pretty clearcut case. There's no need to appeal to public opinion because Kamara's attorney will want to settle. If Kamara touched the dude and its on tape a law school student could get a large settlement.

What Kamara did or didn’t do, how many games he will or won’t be suspended, who the lawyers are…it’s all irrelevant to me right now.
What’s most intriguing to me is all these people who swear they’ve seen the video. What’s going on here?! I’ve read the description of what’s happened many times, but to my knowledge the video has never been released. If it WAS released, and then taken down, surely it would have been copied and spread. Nothing can ever really be deleted on the internet. Is this some sort of Berenstain Bears situation? Was there some sort of rip and then combining of realities where some people actually HAVE seen this video but then have been thrown into an alternate universe where the video was never released? Have they just read and thought about the description so much they’ve manifested what it looks like in their mind and convinced themselves they’ve seen it. Am I the crazy one who saw it and was so traumatized that I’ve blocked it from my memory?

If he was in jail he would be being held to a higher standard than us peasants. Most of that shite is overblown talk to make the victim more of a victim to get more money. If this was anyone else then there would be a criminal case. The person with no previous criminal record would get probation and no one would care. You obviously don't know how our legal system works.

ETA: Later police reports said the video backed up this account.
It's probably a case of detailed reports about a video. Fast forward 6 months and your memory remembers seeing a video. I couldn't find a video either.
