This isn't on Devery's missed TD catch. That was actually a shitty throw to begin with.

Brees was responsible for all 3 turnovers that killed our offensive drives.

2 were in scoring position and another led to 3 points for the Cowboys.

The offensive sputtering is ENTIRELY on Brees. Even more than half the sacks were on him holding the ball too long and then he cost us 1 minute and 5 yards in crucial point by catching his own tipped pass like an idiot.

All that said, he kept us in the game.

The Saints will have to win out to get home field advantage if that even helps. They will need to find out in a hurry what happened to the team in the second half of the season especially the D and the slump of the O.

2 of those TOs weren't on Brees. More like the OL.

No way you put this on Brees. The INT was under thrown. That's Brees.

The 1st fumble was the result of looking for a play downfield and the defensive player sticking his hand out. On Brees? Not totally.

The second fumble, all on the O-Line. Brees was down within 3 seconds. He needed time.

Blame this loss on the D-line. It seemed Dallas was able to gain 5 yards a pop and control the clock. When the Saints can't run the ball, we're done.

Bull fricking shite. Went right through his hands. You want millions of dollars to receive the ball, fricking catch it. It's not all on Devery, more on the O line. And the D making Romo look like a god.

OL more than the D lost this game

Yes but the D gave up 439 yds and time of possession was 37min to 24 for the Saints. This yardage has been common lately from the D.

A shitty throw that made it to the middle of the endzone and fly right through Henderson's hands.

Don't put this game on Brees. Blame it on line play. Brees HAD to hold on to the ball and look for a play b/c that's the position we were put in going down so quickly. We had to abandon the run. Dallas covered the pass and our O-line collapsed under the outside pressure.

With more time a few runs may have worked but time was running out. I think sometimes Payton has too much pass on his mind. We abandon the run too soon I agree.

I am upset that they lost, especially to the Cowboys, however, I don't think this loss will be entirely bad. It removes the pressure of an undefeated season. Now, we can move our focus to getting home field advantage, with two games left to play. I hope this will light a fire under them!

I think you are right and this will light a fire under their asses. Look for the team to come out focused the next two weeks and take care of business in a workman like fashion.

I think at times - Brees looked like Jordan Jefferson in that he backed up to the sacks - instead of stepping forward in the pocket. Brees has been great all year - I think the defense just didn't play well enough and if Brees plays less than perfect, the Saints are quite beatable - especially with so many players hurt.

+1. I watched Grant most of the night and the guy just doesn't get off the ball. He was getting stood up time after time. He's had one good game this whole year, besides that, his fat arse has been a joke. Smith is having a good year, bur he had an off night as well. Ellis also doesn't look 100%. I think once our DBs get healthy we'll be ok, but our D-line, especially Grant, needs to step up big time come playoff time or we won't be playing in February.

The problem with the Saints D is not enough talent. It's catching up.

I think they do, fwiw.

Yes, the Boys won (sweet) but I think they can hold their own as long as everyone stays healthy (Sedrick Ellis). It was a good game. Not everyone can go 12-0, much less undefeated. This game was all about the match ups and Dallas won in the end.
