We overcame the 5 turnovers. Our offense made up for their lack of skill in the first half.

Our defense went limp.

There is no guarantee we win if we don't turn over the ball because we don't know how those drives turn out. We may miss a field goal or a drive may stall.

The only certainty was that at the end of the game, if we get a stop we win and greg williams was an idiot.

The turnovers played a part, but as far as I am concerned, f*ck Greg Williams and the Saints defense. I'm sorry, but I'm done! Completely ridiculous - and that is an understatement!

What about not getting turnovers in our hands?

Defense played lights out for most of the drives.

You can't win a game when you can't manage the clock, and the Saints couldn't manage the clock because we couldn't run. PT being injured hurt us.

We had the lead so the 5 turnovers were null in my mind. We overcame them to get the win, only to have williams lose it for us.

I see your point but it takes a complete effort to win on the road against the #2 seed in the playoffs and that does not include giving them the ball five times.

The defense held them to 17 pts on four turnovers, they were going to fizzle out sooner or later. If the offense would have kept the ball, different story. Easily.

I've been drinking alot and I think this thread is ridiculous.
You cannot turn the ball over five times and expect to win, that's just common fricking sense. The fact that we were still in it shows you the combination of an inept sf offense and good defense. Had we not turned the ball over sf would not have had good field position thus eating up more clock on both ends of the field by both teams. This is a fricking ridiculous statement
