DE, OLB, RB.

Take the best available player at either position in the 1st round.

pretty sure this season provides a reason why you dont drop too much stock into a rb.

not to mention the glaring needs on defense. we scored 36 points with 1 2nd rate rb for most of the game who also fumbled the ball.

yea rb is our biggest need

Exactly. Anytime you score 36 in an NFL game, that should be a win.

RBs are interchangeable in SP's offense... we just got unlucky this year that our top 2 RBs went down at the same time.

Our front 7 needs help.

Agreed front 7, DE, DT, OLB

Sean can get some offensive talent for free, we need big time help on D.

We need DeAngelo Williams. That guy would make us unstoppable.

The Saints do need defensive help at DT, DE & OLB without question, but the Saints should be flexible here if Ingram falls in thier lap.

This thinking that we have to get defensive help or bust is how mistakes are made in the draft. Jonathan Sullivan, Shawn Knight come to mind.

To me Ingram is an Emmitt Smith clone. I am not saying he will have the same career, but he can change the dynamics of your offense and take a ton of pressure off of Breesus. That thinking is what made Emmitt drop to #22 if I am correct in his draft class. He was too small and too slow. He transformed that team into a tough minded freight train on offense. Ingram can have the same type of effect.

Address the defense in free agency and the remaining rounds. Look for Jaquizz Rogers later and clip Reggie & Pierre if he doesn't come WAY off his price tag. Keep Ivory.

I agree.. after watching the cotton bowl, I wouldn't mind Von Miller in black and gold.
