The pick surprised us all Paddy as it seemed a luxury when we are selling out to win now. When the guy had to be kept as a third QB taking up a spot cause he couldn't unseat McCown that is when it turned really bad.

Wish we would have drafted Dak.

4th Round pick, no big deal if he becomes a bust.

Keep Mississippi Saints fans happy, maybe add a few affiliates to the Saints Radio Network.

I mean, who would you rather have, Dak or Onyemata?

17 81 John Miller Bills G Louisville

quote:

John Miller had a quiet — which is typically a good sign for an offensive lineman — preseason, looking stronger at the point of attack and remaining balanced against defenders with good lateral agility. If the second-year pro takes a sizeable step this season, Buffalo’s run game can actually expand and get more efficient from where it was in 2015.

So we waive our 2015 3rd round draft pick but didn't draft La'el Collins even with our late picks?

This front office has lost its marbles

The NFL put the kabosh on anyone drafting Collins and the Saints did push to sign him afterward, but he chose Dallas.

For frick's sake.

You have evidence of that? I'm sure La'el's lawyers would love to see it.

This was an abysmal luxury pick and had Payton all over it. The idea that we have two 3rd round choices so we can gamble on one and then go for a safer pick with the next one.

Could have gotten A DE, G, or DT with that pick and received a decent player in return.

They should leave drafting up to fan voting in the future. We would do better following Kiper's big board.

Sure here ya go.

32 NFL teams
7 rounds of drafting
256 picks

None spent on a excellent high grade o-lineman.

Fair point.

Nobody was touching him.

Still pissed about Mathieu

Eta: I'm an idiot. Shouldn't have listened to my brother who said we drafted Grayson before Mathieu came off the board.

Mea culpa

If Grayson goes to the PS are you guys still going to act like he's a wasted pick?

Wasted Pick? I have no idea, but I do believe we could have picked him further on down in the draft. Therefore I would say it was another in a long list of reaches, where we took payers well before their relative value. Hell we had another pick shortly after this one, not that that would have made much difference.

This Grayson pick was stupid, period.

Its all of them. To have this many poor drafts I think its the scouting dept the position coaches, Asst head coaches, CSP, Loomis and finally it rest in the end with Benson.

Who is the voice of God in the draft room I have never heard. But perhaps they all have their picks so no one person gets all the blame

This thread seems like a strong reaction to a 3rd string QB hitting the PS.
