Remember that Mark Brunell was his holder last year and Morstead is now.Maybe this explains some misses.

If that is the issue, they better be spending hours a day getting that corrected. Kickers don't do much of anything else during practice.

Anybody catch Bobby Hebert yesterday trying to defend the holder, his point was completely moronic.
Bobby was cutting off the caller saying because Hartley was 8 for 8 in preseason with the holder Morstead, that basically it can't be the holder making bad holds on these misses during the regular season.
That's basically like saying, It couldn't be garrett making bad kicks because he was 8-8 in the preseason. Holders can make bad holds every now and then just like kickers. I don't know one way or another if the leg was making bad holds but I know bobby's point didn't prove crap.

If you can't make a 28 yard field goal to win a game in the NFL, you're in the dog house. There's too many kickers that could make that kick.
Last year... lost the Tampa game. In the NFL, you can't keep doing this and keep your job.

Just give him the rest of the year. We won the Super Bowl with Hartley kicking for us last year. The guy is just going through a slump, albeit a big slump. But if kickers are such a dime a dozen then we can find someone else next year.

Don't praise him completely for last year. If I'm correct, he didn't hold the kicking job down until late in the season.
he missed either 1 or 2 kicks all of last season setting a Super Bowl record in the process
