I think its a pretty fair deal. You can't be cheap and win. The guy produced as the #1 back and now that role is his to keep. That is exactly how it should work and how a coach can earn even more respect. If you perform, you get paid, period.

Vereen just got 4/16 from the Giants. He's never rushed for more than 400 yards in a season.

I'd say we got a pretty good deal.
