Fair counterpoint. But how many of these were in the Superdome? I would venture to say at least 4 of 5.

I've read an analysis on bye weeks for the top 10 QBs in the league before. Giving good to great QBs the extra time is a very big advantage.

I don't disagree. I'm just saying the fact that it is away, and against the #1 ranked defense in the league has to be thrown into consideration.

True, but they got held to 17 points at home by Green Bay too.

And they are almost as bad on defense as we are

But I'm not confident that we win, just think it'll be close

Regardless, I'm looking forward to a great game. I can't remember the last time Lions played the Saints in Detroit. It certainly puts an extra spin on things, with so many former Saints with the Lions now.

Last time the Saints played there was during the Lions 0-16 season. Saints won 42-7.

I think it's safe to say things are a little different now.

And it will absolutely be a great game, it's an interesting matchup for many reasons.

No wonder...I'm subconsciously trying to block it out of my memory

Don't get me wrong...I am definitely nervous about this game.

The Lions are a notoriously fast-starting team. Last year, for instance, we started 3-1 and ended 7-9. Maybe things will be different under Caldwell? Who knows? So far, so good!
