contracts in the nfl arent worth the paper they're printed on without guaranteed money or buy-outs. the employee can be fired

AT.
WILL.

Find me the coach that had his contract terminated, didn't have the remainder of his contract paid and without "for cause" reasoning

to call this a "fine" of Payton is just stupid.

It's not stupid, I grant that maybe a court of law would hold differently but it is certainly an argument that could be made.

You are making things up to suit your argument. I have told you that coaching contracts are different from player contracts but you refuse to believe it, only on the basis of "uhuh cause I don't want it be true" Taking money from them is a fine.

If he is a Saints employee, how can the NFL suspend him without pay? Shouldn't the Saints decide whether or not they will pay their employee?

If you're a Chase financial advisor, and you're conducting illegal/unethical practices...better believe the SEC can suspend you.

The NFL is the governing body of 32 individual corporations.

I don't think SP goes this route, but if he did I think he has homefield advantage in the courtroom

How many players have you ever seen suspended in sports? How many of those players have ever gone thru the actual legal system to have it overturned? And succeeded? Anyone?
