they have to focus him on being a mauling LG. that is our salvation. use his strengths and bolster his confidence and game.

At this point if they can get him on the field in meaning full reps it's imperative to do so as soon as possible. I'm just skeptical as to whether or not he can move inside as easy as people seem to want to make it out to be. As I understand it you need a whole different center of gravity to play in an box. One thing I wouldn't do is force him into yet another situation that he will fail in. I would hope that staff is exploring all options in practice, even if they're not broadcasting it to the world what they're trying.

I know as a fan I want to see the 1st round pick work out and be a 1st round pick success but what I want to see more is Penning the NFL linemen develop his to his potential for the New Orleans Saints and not get run off and become some other teams LT. But the Saints should not wait for it to happen, the should draft another LT if a top guy is available and continue to develop Penning

He’s out of place at LT in the NFL. I think he can play RT or guard

With the way Defenses are moving their elite pass rushers around to either side of the center or some teams having 2 pass rushers on the field, I agree he is better suited at playing Guard. The old concept of having your stud Tackle being your LT is starting to fade.
