ok fellas lets just make everyone happy and say our defense is GREAT! Is that what some of you blind people wanna hear?
...These guys are getting paid a lot of money to hit, tackle, or sack someones azz. Thats my point, no sugar coating. Thats what i pay to go see or want to sit down on my couch and watch. We all know what our Brees and crew are gonna bring but we cant always and wont always score 30 plus a game.
WHO DAT!

Gregg Williams is doing a great job building our defense each year. He is always adding players that help the team and doesn't start players who are always out of place a make bad decisions regularly.
His blitzes are 90% effective and the d-line is stout. Our OLB's are good enough to hold their own and our safeties are ball hawking play makers.
Nothing but confidence from here on out. We should sign him to an extension so this level of success continues.

Cameron Jordan may be the most dominant rookie since lawrence taylor..
Maybe even more dominant...

I just feel that they need to find another safety that covers better than Roman Harper. Somebody faster, smarter, and a leader. Even if they could find another guy so they can swap out the safeties like they do with defensive lineman. That way we always have fresh personnel. Just my opinion..

You blew your first post load on Roman Harper...
Welcome to Saints talk.
I hope you are not a fruit cake like the other 80 % of posters on this board are...
How long have you been a fan?
Did you also see the first returned kickoff ever for the saints, as well as Dempseys field goal?

Sounds good the way you put it so...yes.
But really what I find interesting is that the def. played the way they have all year. The Def. gave up 26 points. 10 points off turnovers by Brees and P.T..
The guys on offence gave up 4 turnovers on the road. That was the differance.

This damn Superbowl hangover is a doozy. Well into it's second year now.

Jeez, you guys are 4-2 and arguably have the second best team in the entire NFC. (Having seen the Bears play both the Saints and the Lions, I believe the Saints would handily beat Detroit on a neutral field.) You played juggernaut Green Bay to a virtual tie in Lambeau. Calm down. You'll be fine. I'll be shocked if you aren't in the NFC championship game.
Meanwhile, we'll do our best to beat Tampa in London next wek, although two consecutive competent games may be too much to ask.

Imagine if we were NE....first in offense, last in defense...and leading their division at 5-1. Bet their fans aren't in freak out mode. I really really think some people are going a little overboard in their reactions...think about it, as someone else said, despite giving up 4 turnovers(you'll never win a game with 4 turnover[which resulted in 10 points]), despite losing your offensive playcaller early in the first quarter, despite being our third road game, we only lost by 6. Mind you, TB is a really good not great team that got spanked last week and had something to prove...and we lost by six. I just think there is a lot of football still to be played....
Live in the New england area and the fans are cautiously optimistic but only a stones throw away from freak out mode since they are used to seeing them put up stats all season and stop no one but get stomped in a home playoff game because they can't stop anyone. Believe me, they have big problems here on D and the reason you don't hear anything now is because their division is garbage outside of buffalo who they lost to.
I fear we are in the same boat as them except our O is not quite as good with more turnovers and our D doesn't get the turnovers they do. Not to mention we are in a much tougher division with no easy outs, no miami to shite on.
